Well, This Will Make For a Fair Debate....

Drudge reveals that the moderator for Thursday's Vice-Presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe "Gaffe-O-Matic" Biden is - suprise! - an Obama partisan:

The moderator of Thursday's vice-presidential debate is writing a book to come out about the time the next president takes the oath of office that aims to "shed new light" on Democratic candidate Barack Obama and other "emerging young African American politicians" who are "forging a bold new path to political power."

.... she has faced criticism previously for not treating candidates of both major parties the same.

Bet you remember this b*tch after this anecdote:

During a vice-presidential candidate debate she moderated in 2004 – when Democrat John Edwards attacked Republican Dick Cheney's former employer, Halliburton – the vice president said, "I can respond, Gwen, but it's going to take more than 30 seconds."

"Well, that's all you've got," she told Cheney.

Ifill told the Associated Press Democrats were delighted with her answer, because they "thought I was being snippy to Cheney."

So what can we expect Thursday? The past presages the future:

But she also was cited in complaints PBS Ombudsman Michael Getler said he received after Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin delivered her nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., earlier this month.

Some viewers complained of a "dismissive" look by Ifill during her report on Palin's speech. According to Getler, some also said she wore a look of "disgust" while reporting on the
Republican candidate.

Will we see the same look when Sarah Palin answers a question or scores a debate point based upon the conservative ideology that Ifill so obviosuly disdains?

Yup. You can count on it. Right out of a SNL skit...

Gateway Pundit has video of Ifill talking about her book' and brings us the wisdom of Michelle Malkin:

...there is nothing "moderate" about where Ifill stands on Barack Obama. She's so far in the tank for the Democratic presidential candidate, her oxygen delivery line is running out.

I'll Let Michelle deliver the parting shot as well:

Like Obama, Ifill, who is black, is quick to play the race card at the first sign of criticism. In an interview with the Washington Post a few weeks ago, she carped: "No one's ever assumed a white reporter can't cover a white candidate."

It's not the color of your skin, sweetie. It's the color of your politics.

Can't wait until Thursday to see how this plays out....

I just sent an e-mail to Janet H. Brown, the Executive Director of the Debates Commission. I suggested that the Commission could at least require Ifill to disclose, at the beginning of the debate, her bias, her book and her and her financial interest in the outcome of the election.

Like it will happen.

What will the good folks who depended on the election at SNL do now? Don't forget the mainstream media illuminati.
