Incidentally, none of the major media outlets even reported on this attempted assault on the president of the United States. Took the Brits to get it done, again. Were our lickspittle toadies afraid of seeing their beloved leader weakened even further in the public eye, or did they feel just a tad guilty, perhaps realizing that their glorifying over the shoe-chucking incident involving George W. Bush thus opened up their man to the same type of attack?
What a second here..."guilt"? "realize"? The media? Ah, who am I trying to kid?
And in related news from Sunday's Philadelphia rally, a streaker who dashed in front of Obama apparently did it for $1 million in cash, on a dare from billionaire Alki David, who offered the money on the caveat that his website be plastered across his/her chest. Seems like Juan James Rodriguez understands the rules of capitalism better than the man on the podium:
Streakers, unidentified (well, the title) flying objects, engineered rallies to invigorate the candidate....are we somewhere between Dukakis and Dole, or in a completely different place entirely?
And why do I have the feeling it's only going to get...weirder?
