Now Who's Bringing The Hate?

Why, it's Former Clinton Cabinet Secretary and Mayor of Denver, Federico Pena! Man, these guys are brash - point the crooked finger of accusation at Republicans, the Tea Party, and the American people as a collective group of hate-mongers, then dish out a huge dollop of divisive race-baiting while the crowd is distracted!

Granted, like a amateur boardwalk magician trying to work the summer crowd, only a handful of passersby are actually bothering to watch, and perhaps that's a good thing, since the Democratic sideshow has gone from dismaying to disturbing.

While campaigning in Colorado for doomed Democrat Rep. Betsy Markey, Pena had
the following to say:

And then during WWII, we put Japanese Americans in camps all over the county, thought it was the right thing to do. Everybody got carried away with the emotion of the day. We thought they were, you know, somehow terrorists. Of course, years later we had to pass a law apologizing. [...] And we see this happen in other countries, I won’t give you the history. And that’s happening in our country today. There are a lot of people out there saying some very dangerous things. And people are kind of listening to thoughts and listening to these very short news clips, and getting persuaded by that.

Pena's rhetoric is ugly, accusing Americans of preparing to embark on a "Kristallnacht" against Hispanics, and declaring the only way to avoid it is censorship of the news, and by voting for neo-communists like Markey.

Hardly convincing of anything except the left's ability to do or say anything - no matter how much it might widen the divide - in order to maintain power.

Lincoln famously said that a house divided against itself cannot stand. Democrats don't care any longer whether or not America falls - shoot, should it fall, they would be the first to say we deserved it - but simply seem to want to be on top at the end so they can rule over the rubble and ration what's left to themselves and their friends.

Like the old Soviets, or the North Koreans, or the Castro Brother's island paradise...

Here's the video, if you can stomach it:
