Michael Goodwin makes the point on how weak the Democratic open-borders argument is, and simultaneously uncovers yet another intelligence-deficient individual in high places within the Obama administration:

Cotton-plantation owners made the same argument in 1860.
No, it's not intentional. But anyone with even half a brain would have realized what an indelicate and easily disprovable argument this is for unfettered cross-border immigration.
But who am I kidding? Looking for brains (even halves) in Washington, DC? Might as well search for water in the Sahara...
