"Blue Jersey" No Longer!

Well, this is a state that elected a Republican governor, is trying to recall Democratic senator Robert Menendez (D-La Raza), and who just went out (at Chris Christie's urging) and voted against tax-hiking school budgets in almost 60% of the state's townships. All while becoming more socially conservative, to boot.

So maybe the party whose platform is based upon high-spending, tax-raising, social engineering shouldn't be too surprised to see results like this out of Burlington County, New Jersey... Jim Geraghty reports:

The Burlington County Democratic Committee is deep in debt and raised no money during the first three months of the year, according to the committee’s latest New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission filings.”

Think about it: If you found a penny in the street today, you raised more in that moment than they raised in three months.

Maybe if the Democrats weren't trying to enact a tax on pennies found in the gutter....

Welcome to Red Jersey, my new label for the state (until I think of a more pithy one). With apologies on their fate to the bloggers at Blue Jersey, who soldier on bravely, not unlike the half-dozen remaining members of the American Communist Party...
