The TV star has filed for candidacy with the Green Party with their convention looming in Baltimore this July.
"The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants -- bought and paid for by the 1% -- who are not doing what's in the best interest of the American people," Barr said in a statement.
Barr wrote on her Green Party candidate questionnaire she "will barnstorm American living rooms.
Oh, the humanity!
"Mainstream media will be unable to ignore me, but more importantly they will be unable to overlook the needs of average Americans in the run-up to the 2012 election."
They will ignore her. Obama's position heading into 2012 is tenuous at best; the last thing the media wants is to highlight someone who might siphon off votes a la Ralph Nadar. Now if were a celebrity running as a Libertarian, well...they'd get more coverage than poor Ron Paul.
Oh...and about Roseanne Barr's anti-semetism? It's classic European-style, a hatred of Jews lying behind a hatred of Israel. But Roseanne lets it all hang out:
The jews are raised to be suicide bombers too, and that abusive cult-programming that is done to jewish children, beginning with genital torture, remains strong even after the religion itself is abandoned.
There is no israel really, and there will soon be no jews...
Not a retouch/PhotoShop, alas - Roseanne thinks "Dead Jewish Children Cookies, Straight From The Oven" is a comedy bit both funny...
And this ugly incident:
Rabbi Arthur Waskow had heard enough.
The left-wing activist and Jewish Renewal rabbi was slated to face off via telephone with media personality Rabbi Shmuley Boteach on comedian Roseanne Barr’s radio show last week. But after a lengthy lead-in during which Barr and her co-host/boyfriend, Johnny Argent, let loose a torrent of invective against Judaism, Jewish identity and religion in general, Waskow decided he was no longer interested in participating.
By the time the pair tried to put Waskow on the air, the rabbi had hung up
I dunno..maybe this is all a ploy by Roseanne to become Barack Obama's running mate in 2012? Everyone knows the president is bored with Old Joe, and while it may not diversify the ticket, it would certainly strengthen it with the liberal base...
