This is the guy the media assured us was transcendant, who was brilliant, intelligent, and The One we have been waiting for? The same guy who just wrote a letter to former French president - and renown anti-American - Jaques Chirac - saying how he was looking forward to working with him?
In what capacity, exactly? Via Gateway Pundit:
In a letter described by Chirac as 'very nice,' Obama wrote, 'I am certain that we will be able to work together, in the coming four years, in a spirit of peace and friendship to build a safer world.'
The use of the word 'peace' was taken to be an indirect reference to Chirac's stance against the US intervention in Iraq, which Obama had also opposed as senator.

Is Obama truly clueless about who runs France these days? Or is he planning to snub Sarkozy, who helped warm relations between France and the US, by wooing Chirac, who did more to damage Franco-American ties than any French leader in modern history?
Dangerous foreign policy, no matter what is endgame is. Lends more creedence to my theory, expounded on yesterday, that Obama is no genius - he's just batshit crazy....
