Obama whitewashes Israel out of Haiti

When Barack Obama is delivering some overwrought piece of soaring oratory tonight, full of sound and no substance, sending tingles up the legs of everyone on the left, let it be known here and now that I have one thing that I want to make perfectly clear:

President Barack Obama is an Israel-hating anti-Semite. (go thru these posts for some background).

What's his latest affront against Israel? Trying to whitewash their tremendous good deeds out of history - via Marty Peretz:

I've just read the transcript of the president's remarks about Haiti, the ones he made on January 15. He noted that, in addition to assistance from the United States, significant aid had also come from "Brazil, Mexico, Canada, France, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, among others." Am I missing another country that truly weighed in with truly consequential assistance? Ah, yes. There it is. Right there "among others." Yes, the country to which I refer is "among others," that one.

The fact is that, next to our country, Israel sent the largest contingent of trained rescue workers, doctors, and other medical personnel. The Israeli field hospital was the only one on the ground that could perform real surgery, which it did literally hundreds of times, while delivering--as of last week--at least 16 babies, including one premature infant and three caesarians. The first 250-odd Israelis were real professionals, and they were supplemented by others, also professionals. And to these can be added the many organized Jews from the Diaspora who, in solidarity with Israel, also went on a work pilgrimage, an aliyah, in solidarity with Haiti.

It's not that Israeli participation in the Haiti horror was being kept secret. I myself saw it reported several times on television—on ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN.

So didn't Obama notice? For God's sake, everybody noticed the deep Israeli involvement...

Of course he noticed. But Obama does not like Israel, does not like the Jews, and has never said a kind word about either, with the exception of the few occasions when he was pandering for their votes. To praise them proves their moral strength above others; and that embarrasses and frustrates Obama. Which is his reaction every time reality intrudes on his ideology, incidentally.

So like the media over the past eight years glossing over any good George Bush did (and ignoring the wildly cheering throngs on his African visits) in order to maintain the storyline that he was pure evil incarnate, Obama ignores or whitewashes out any good Israel does, in order to maintain the storyline that they are the bad guys in the Middle East.

Maybe he took a cue from the Guardian newspaper in the UK, which published a list of every Nobel prize winner from the last century, conveniently omitting every Jew and/or Israeli that ever won the prize.

When the horror of the Obama presidency is over, and we are left to clean up the moral and fiscal mess, one of the most shameful acts in American history will be hard to scrub away: An anti-Semitic president repeatedly stabbing an erstwhile friend and ally in the back simply because of his personal animosity towards Jews.

We will all have a lot of explaining to do to our children....

Gee, I'm shocked that Obummer is mistreating our only TRUE allies in the Middle East. NOT.

How much longer until we can vote this creep out?

Wow - I didn't know about the Guardian's list. That's really despicable. CrazyDaisy - I keep hoping against hope that he'll just quit because he's tired and angry. Or he'll do something so treasonous, beyond what he's already done, that Congress or someone will kick him out.

Yes but you failed to mention that the media pushed the lie that Israel was stealing organs from the people they were supposed to be helping.

That makes me so mad when lies like that are stated and believed by so many

This Roman Catholic loves "RWN" especially when, as here, the gaia devotees atheist Elites get their come-uppance. Keep the light of day shinning on their sanctioned prejudice: an abhorrence of Western religion.

Others have said that Obama refused to mention Israel's Haitian relief effort becuase the Arabs have doen so little ( as in nothing), and he did not want to show "favoritism" of one side over the other.

So within Obama's mindset, it is immoral to praise a nation for good deeds; lest we incur the sin of shaming those who prefer to do nothing.

No wonder he has so little good to say about his own nation.
