Obama's Anti-Terror Policies: Working As Well As The Stimulus

Hey, I didn't say it, he did. Well, at least he's using the same metric and rationale as he did with the stimulus: Blame Bush for all of his problems, then give vague re-assurances based on non-existent data that his way is working, even though, like the emperor's new clothes, we can't see anything there:

In a video address released just hours ago, President Obama for the first time publicly posits a link between the Christmas Day bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, and al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

The video also contains thinly-veiled criticism of the counter-terror strategy of George W. Bush. Obama says that the current administration has “refocused the fight” against al-Qaeda on Afghanistan and Pakistan, while “bringing to a responsible end to the war in Iraq, which had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks.”

Speaking broadly once more, Obama says that this strategy has reaped benefits, thwarting unspecified terrorist plots on U.S. soil and saving “countless American lives.”

Right. So just as a moribund economy with 10% unemployment and a bleak future is somehow evidence that jobs have been "created or saved" due to Obama's stimulus; a terrorized America which has seen a jihad go on a murderous rampage at Ft. Hood and barely escaped mass murder at 10,000 feet is a nation that has had "countless lives saved" due to Obama's cunning foreign policy skills.

Is anyone outside of a 100-yard radius of the White House buying this load of fertilizer? Anyone, of course, that doesn't have a "D" affixed next to their name?
