Barack Obama Gets Tough In The Middle East!

No, silly - not with Iran, whose deadline for "co-operation" with the West over its nuclear program passed without a whisper. Not Yemen, who is still churning out terrorists quicker than Democrats can churn through (other people's) money. Not Hamas, who's still building rockets (and hate), or Syria....no, no...

It's Israel he's getting tough with! After all, those pesky Jews have always been the problem; didn't Reverend Wright tell him so Sunday after Sunday after Sunday?

US envoy George Mitchell said this week the US could withhold loan guarantees to extract concessions from Israel.

(quote from Mitchell: "Under American law, the United States can withhold support on loan guarantees to Israel")

The guarantees allow Israel to raise money cheaply overseas.

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz reacted by saying the Israeli economy was doing well.

"We are doing just fine. But several months ago we agreed with the American treasury on guarantees for 2010 and 2011, and there were no conditions."

So Obama breaks a promise to Israel. Get used to it, guys, it's old news in America. So Obama is threatening Israel unless it goes along with his agenda? Get used to it, guys, that's what he does to both political opponents (public and private), as well as members of his own party, if they refuse to toe his line. You say Obama is endangering your national security by blackmailing you while turning a blind eye to the excess of Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah? Get used to it, guys - have you seen what he's done to America's national security in just 12 short months?

Bottom line - Obama feels he can bully Israel, because they're a democracy in danger, and force them to his will, despite the cost in Jewish lives. What a courageous man he is....
