Did The New Yorker Draw a Masturbating Pope Benedict XVI On Their Cover?

Seems innocent enough - Pope Benedict, retired, enjoying an Italian newspaper in a beachfront hammock:

But take a closer look at that right hand, the tilt of the head, and that unsightly bulge:

Am I reading too much (like the proverbial conservative, small-minded small-town preacher) into a gentle, respectful cartoon?

No.  This is an intentional, disgusting, disgraceful attack on the pope and Catholicism, as well as the values of all Americans who descend from the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Which was the intent, of course.  All done with deniability, and brought to you by the ever-tolerant, open-minded liberals currently giggling like nasty schoolkids over at The New Yorker...

Scumbags.  May they rot in hell.

Why am I not surprised? And these are the people who consider themselves our intellectual superiors and moral masters?

Children. That's what they are.

Nothing is more of an intentional, disgusting attack on Catholicism than Catholic priests diddling little kids. Don't blame the libs when you guys are the real creeps.
