Poll: 41% of Dems think president should have power to kill suspected American terrorist on American soil

AllahPundit is shocked, shocked over at Hot Air, but he needn't be.  The fault lies in the question asked by the pollster:

Ask a Democrat any question that begins with "Do you think the president of the United States, on his own, should be able to authorize...", and you will get a yes answer.  No need to even finish the question, the remainder of the sentence is irrelevant - as long as Barack is president.

You want to get a gauge of the true feelings of the Left?  Restate the questions as "Do you think a Republican  president of the United States, on his own..."

Bet those numbers would flip-flop a bit...
