I can relate. Sometimes it does cripple the mind, trying to understand why the voters in New Jersey seem hell bent to keep the political shitswirl in place.
It's true! 'Cause ever since I posted on the bribery busts, I almost have that "what else is there to be said?" mindset? Of course, there is more to be said, but as you noted, it does "cripple the mind"...!
