CNN & FOX called the Ohio Senate seat for Rob Portman. Could be a real long night in Ohio - the state that gave Obama the presidency - based on some brutal turnout numbers:
A plugged-in, diehard Republican in Ohio: “My county chairman told me that by midday 35 percent of the Republicans had voted, only 15-16 percent of Democrats; and the University of Dayton, which had turned out 80-90 percent in 2008, was only at 12 percent at midday. And in our district, our strongest period is after 5 p.m....
Looks like a lot of vulnerable seats in Ohio will be flipping this evening...now if only the wave is strong enough to wash away Dennis Kucinich....
