In the interest of honesty - or perhaps avoiding a "War of the Worlds" type riot - the Democratic National Convention should have used this disclaimer, first given by Leonard Nimoy while he was introducing a supernatural episode of The Simpsons, entitled "The Springfield Files":
Hello. I'm Leonard Nimoy. The following tale of alien encounters is true. And by true, I mean false. It's all lies. But they're entertaining lies. And in the end, isn't that the real truth?
The answer is....No.
(partial sound file here)
But back to the detestable Democrat, Ms. Debbie Wasserman Schultz - she's a hack, and a horrible human being to boot, yet the media turns a blind eye to her dangerous rhetoric and her pathological falsehoods.
But we won't. So here she is, on video (well, audio) claiming that Israeli ambassador Micheal Oren said that the GOP was "dangerous for Israel":
And here she is again, denying she ever said such a thing, after Ambassador Oren called bullshit on her:
Two lies for the price of one! best deal we've gotten from a Democrat - ever.
All this...and yet she's not even given the scrutiny of a one of those infamous "fact checks". Some truths, though false, are convenient for the media - at least until a Republican is elected...
