Is Barack Obama Really....Nedward Flanders Sr.? (The "Freaky Beatnik")

Barack Hussein Obama speaking on the ever-rising price of gasoline:

After 39 straight days of increases, prices fell nearly a penny from Tuesday to Thursday and held steady on Friday at $3.758 per gallon for the national average. The lull won’t last long, and gas is still nearly 50 cents higher than it was at the beginning of the year...

I’m going to keep doing everything I can to help you save money on gas, both right now and in the future,” Obama said...

Really?

The news wires are reporting that President Obama actively lobbied Senate Democrats to defeat the Keystone pipeline yesterday. The effect of blocking the Keystone XL Pipeline is to defer 700,000 barrels of oil per day....the president’s policy of choking off oil production under federal leases will prevent another 1 million barrels of oil per day this year, and even more next year.

Obama will soon be personally responsible for preventing some 2 million barrels per day of possible North American crude oil production from reaching the American economy.
.
.

Which brings us to Hurricane Neddy, a Simpsons episode where we see how Ned Flanders became...Ned Flanders. Apparently, his bizarre behavior is primarily a result of radical left-wing parents - parents who knew they had a wild, uncontrollable son, but whose ideology forbid them to do anything about it:

Dr. Foster: Would you please tell your son to stop?
Ned’s Dad: We can’t do it, man! That’s discipline! That’s like tellin’ Gene Krupa not to go banging “boom boom bam bam bam, boom boom bam bam bam, boom boom boom bam ba ba ba ba, da boo boo tss!

Ned’s Dad: We don’t believe in rules, like, we gave them up when we started livin’ like freaky beatniks!
Dr. Foster: You don’t believe in rules, yet you want to control Ned’s anger?
Ned’s Mom: Yeah. You gotta help us, Doc. We’ve tried nothin’ and we’re all out of ideas.

So is Barack....

And so it goes when you elect a freaky beatnik to be president of the United States...
