Emmy Rossum, that is. Born and raised by a Jewish mother in New York City, you may know her from films such as
Mystic River (2003),
The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and
The Phantom of the Opera (2004, for which she nominated for a Golden Globe). Or perhaps
Poseidon (2006), or even more recently in the Showtime series
Shameless, with the great William H. Macy.
And like
Hottie #3, Jennifer Watson, Emmy is a singer as well. The labels, after seeing her in
Phantom, wanted her to do classical, but she thought otherwise, making a rock/pop album for Geffen entitled
Inside Out. It peaked at 199 on the charts, but it's OK. We love you anyway, Emmy....
