The Media Gets Their "Dream" Terrorist!

CNN reports:

While police have not officially named him, Norwegian television and newspaper reports have identified the suspect as 32-year-old Anders Behring Breivik, of Norwegian origin.

A picture is emerging, gleaned from official sources and social media, of a right-wing Christian fundamentalist who may have had an issue with Norway's multi-cultural society.

Norwegian and international news outlets have run photographs of a blond man with blue-green eyes and chiseled features, dressed in a preppy style.

Funny - in almost all prior terrorist attacks, how often has the media put the suspects political leanings, religion, and skin color in the first three paragraphs? And made an assumption about his motivations, to boot?

Do you think we'll ever see a MSM article that leads like this:

Terror suspect Abdul Abdul Salam Muhammad Akbar, a radical anti-American and anti-Semitic Muslim, was taken into custody today, a long beard obscuring his dark skin tones. He wore a headscarf, prayer robes, and was carrying a book believed to be the Koran. Based on clues from associates and from texts of sermons at his mosque, it is believed that his hatred of America - due to their "decadent culture" and support for the Jews -  was the primary motivation behind his plot to slaughter innocent civilians.

Yeah, right. That's called "the white guy treatment". This is how the above scenario would read in the media:

A man of unknown origin was taken into custody today. No clues were available as to any possible motives the terrorist may have had.

But give them a white guy, a Christian....boy oh boy, here's where the fun really begins! Watch the media roll like pigs in the slop, and wait for the left to demand that the Tea Party be added to terrorist watch lists. Assuming, of course, we're not already there...
