In Los Angeles, Bravery Can Be Counted On One Finger

Is this Daniel, walking into the lion's den? David, facing Goliath? Or just another soul who realizes he must walk a very dangerous and difficult path alone, and whispers, "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me..."

One courageous, Israeli-born, American high-school student stood-up for his right to publicly support Israel - and a rally of hundreds of Muslim and far-leftist, pro-Palestine demonstrators nearly turned-into the lynch-mob they sought to downplay.

Outside of the Israeli Consulate to L.A. on Memorial Day, Daniel a Jewish high-school student defiantly waved the Israeli flag through a crowd of Israel-haters - to defend what he perceives as the Israeli Marines' justified handling of the Flotilla blockade when they came under attack.

The L.A.P.D. had to establish a human wall to intervene to protect Daniel (and afterwards, a couple of other Israel supporters) who stood-up in opposition to the mob mentality of the Gaza protesters, with their version of the facts of the case and rights of expression.

Flip to 1:20 or so, to hear the hateful shrieking of a Palestinian-American woman, her face contorted with rage at the sight of the Star of David. "I'll KILL you!" she screams....

Brave Daniel points out (around 4:00?) that these folks are not just agitating against the flotilla incident, they are calling for the overthrow of the Jewish democratic state, to be replaced by an Arab terrorist state.

This brave teen gets it (and shames many of us in the process with his innocent belief and bravery). Why doesn't Barack Obama, and the Democrats?

Or maybe they do get it, and share the aim of that spitting, frothing Palestinian female - an Israel replaced by Palestine. The ultimate redistribution, as well as the most fulfilling act of anti-semitism since the Holocaust.

Would certainly make their lives easier. Lack of morality often has that effect, though...

An onscreen credit to the backlink on DemoCast or Joo-Tube would be nice.
