Lies My Pollster Told Me...

....or, "urge to kill...rising..."

So Anyway, the Washington Post is all over a poll that shows Obama with a 9 point lead over McCain. Pretty freakin' unsurmountable, right? Might as well stay home and watch the whole depressing non-drama unfold on CNN....

Yeah, that's what they want you to think. However - way, way down in the data portion of the poll, the 12th table by their reckoning, there is finally something useful - persons polled by party affiliation:

Democrat 37%
Republican 28%
Independent/Other 34%

Interesting - a poll based an an 11% turnout advantage for the Democrats? Based on this account, the 2004 general election was split this way:

Democrat: 37%
Republican:37%
Independent/Other 26%

So why change the sample this year to give the Democrats an 11% polling advantage?

In order to come up with a 9-point Obama lead...

How obvious, and weak...

You just know the media is counting on the gloom-and-doom polling to discourage McCain voter turnout. Ain't gonna work, libs. Sorry.

They need to worry more about their own turnout (Dick Morris is saying the youth vote is going McCain, and so are the undecideds, e.g.).

Heh.

I don't care what the mainstream media illuminati said, those polls were bias.
