Gateway Pundit [ http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2006/02/islamic-society-of-denmark-used-fake.html ] has the story on how the Islamic Society of Denmark actually created their own forged cartoons showing their almighty Prophet in a number of deviant poses in order to inflame the controversy:
Akhmad Akkari, spokesman of the Danish Muslim organisations ... explained that the three drawings had been added to "give an insight in how hateful the atmosphere in Denmark is towards Muslims." Akkari claimed he does not know the origin of the three pictures. He said they had been sent anonymously to Danish Muslims. However, when Ekstra Bladet asked if it could talk to these Muslims, Akkari refused to reveal their identity. These images had however never been published in Jyllands-Posten.
Seems as if the European media is beginning to wake up to the threat to free speech that the Islamist movement represents { yesterday's post here: http://jerseynut.blogspot.com/2006/02/dhimmitude-in-france.html} ...will the American media/Hollywood wise up, before they too are "banned" from reproducing images of the Prophet?
Note the response to this "outrage", and how a certain country's dhimmitude has failed to help them:

Gunmen in the West Bank city of Nablus entered four hotels to search for foreigners to abduct and warned their owners not to host guests from several European countries. Gunmen said they were also searching apartments in Nablus for Europeans....
"Any citizens of these countries, who are present in Gaza, will put themselves in danger," a Fatah-affiliated gunman said outside the EU Commission's office in Gaza, flanked by two masked men holding rifles.
If the European governments don't apologize by Thursday evening, "any visitor of these countries will be targeted," he said.

Yes, JKW, submission is their whole point - the Islamists are trying to force their theology/philosophy into prominance over the West. God help us if we keep thinking that if we only "talked to them more", there would be an understanding.
There can be no middle ground when compromising with evil - once you go part-way, you are all the way in...
