Representative Tim Huelskamp (R., Kan.) quoted the bard (well, paraphrased, it seems), when asked about thy hysterics - primarily Obama's, fanned by the media - surrounding tomorrow's inevitable sequester:

“It is a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury and signifying nothing”


Huelskamp is being polite. There are many other Shakespearean snarks that would have been equally appropriate to mark the president's humiliating behavior:
