Elizabeth Warren: A Poison To The Body Politic

She's an Obama fave, a liberal darling, and she's running against Senator Scott Brown in Massachusetts, the man who might be Public Enemy #1 in the liberal nation:  The Republican who usurped the "Kennedy seat".

This video is making the rounds today, as well it should, because it speaks volumes to who Warren is, and what liberalism is:

“I hear all this, you know, ‘Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever. No. There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody.

You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did.

“Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea. God bless — keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is, you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.”

What riles me here?  I can parse it line-by-line, but let's just do the Top Four most offensive things spoken by Elizabeth Warren in this two-minute clip:

"You built a factory out there? Good for you."  Note how she sneers at the achievement she can never equal.. The Harvard elitism oozes from her open pores, as she showers disdain upon the people who create the jobs that she can only theorize about. Without the factory owner, where would his employees work? Warren can't say. That's reality, not theory.  Not in her realm.

"You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for."  Well, actually, didn't the factory owner pay for them as well? And based upon the current taxation rates, didn't he likely pay more than most of the folks- including Warren - that use those roads? But I want to be clear, Ms. Warren - if road usage is based on who pays the most for them, you'd better grow a pair of fucking wings.

"You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did." Well - maybe you can ask the folks at Gibson Guitars about that. Turns out that these days, more often than not the "marauding mobs" are government agents, swooping in and emptying factories based on arbitrarily and perhaps inaccurate enforcement. Of course, there are other taxpayers who also don't get protection from mobs - say, Republican lawmakers, particularly those in Wisconsin, who are threatened by union leftists as the taxpayer-supported police departments turn a blind eye.  Seems like the more the government raises in taxes, the more dangerous they become.

"God bless — keep a big hunk of it". How much of our own money do you really think Elizabeth Warren will allow you to keep? Do you think, when she's done divvying up your cash to every basket case and lobbyist and "green entrepreneur" who has his hand out, that there will be a "hunk" left for you? Or will Miss Warren return to you a morsel, and declare it to be a feast, and you to be an ungrateful bastard?

The Weekly Standard notes that there is no way they can possibly overstate how excited liberal 'netroots
are about Warren's speech.  And that should be no surprise.  Behind their alleged love of their fellow Americans is their hatred of their fellow Americans.  And Elizabeth Warren is giving them a moral basis for a declaration of war on anyone who does not agree with their socio-economic worldview.  Now, under the Warren Rule,  if the hidebound producing class is still resistant to paying higher taxes, we have the right to extort it from them, for their own good as well as the good of the nation.  Anyone opposed is a traitor.  And you know what happens to traitors...

No wonder they love her.

The Nazi party had Alfred Baeumler , Alfred Rosenberg and Martin Heidegger.  The American Left has Elizabeth Warren.

The only question is what the people of Massachusetts will do with her.

2012 is going to be brutal....
