Barack Obama claims John McCain is out of touch with ordinary Americans? Er, OK. But guess which candidate is having a dinner where brainwashed admirers will be ponying up close to $30K just to bask in his magnificant presence?
Yesterday, Obama declared how we are in "the most serious financial crisis since the Great Depression."
Today he will host a dinner in Beverly Hills --- costing attendees $28,500 dollars each!
Hundreds of high rollers, including some of the biggest executives in film, television and music, will munch gourmet chow and hang out with the candidate. Streisand will then sing at the five-star Beverly Wilshire, no doubt reviving the Depression-era standard "Happy Days Are Here Again" with new urgency.
In Democratic politics, nothing "changes"....

I know how much these gilded pansies, who fly from Hollywood to Malibu in private jets, and own 30-room mansions and vintage Aston Martins in every color of the rainbow, give a flying flirj about Barack H. Obama’s plan to rescue America with middle class tax relief. They're the party we can relate to!
Meanwhile, how many of the Troops sign up for military service for the benefits because they would otherwise not know how to make ends meet, and which of the candidates is their more vocal supporter?
Also, Reuters, which is almost as retarded as the Times, had as a lead in a story yesterday (of course, linked to in the Huffington *spit* Post), "Alan Greenspan says the country can't afford tax cuts of the magnitude proposed by Republican presidential contender John McCain — at least not without a corresponding reduction in government spending."

You would think these dipshits who write the news might actually try listening to the news, because I've heard McCain state - ad nauseum - that the PLAN, when he and Sarah Palin are elected, is to REDUCE government spending, while Barry received something like 105,000 in campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
