That rascal Hillary Clinton took some potshots at President Bush's domestic surveillance initiatives today; and in doing so, she allowed her own future policies to show:
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday called President Bush's explanations for eavesdropping on domestic telephone calls "strange" and "far-fetched," launching a blistering attack on the White House ahead of the president's State of the Union address.
"Obviously, I support tracking down terrorists. I think that's our obligation. But I think it can be done in a lawful way," the New York Democrat said.
Done in a lawful way. That was Bill Clinton's self-described mandate for all action against terrorists. That's why he tried and jailed a few guys after the first World Trade Center attack, why he sent FBI agents into Saudi Arabia to find the bombers of the Khobar Towers (and we found how many?), why we "questioned" folks in Yemen after the USS Cole was bombed (and arrested how many?), and why we never snatched Osama bin Laden when he was offered to us on a silver platter. And this is why terrorists were free to attack us with no fear of reprisal on September 11th.
And this failed anti-terror strategy is what Hillary wants this nation to revert to.
Springfield Chief of Police Clancey Wiggum once said, "I'd rather let a million guilty men go free...than have to chase after them"
Hillary would let a million terrorists walk free, until Kofi Annan gave her the authority to shake a warrant at them.
Let's pray, for everybody's safety, that she never gets the chance.

We just can't trust our security to these Democrats. In a time of war you don't hand the reigns over to people that don't support the troops and the counter-intelligence agencies that are keeping us safe.
The scary thing is, though she is the least likable, I'm not sure Hillary is the worst of them.
I trust the American people; they did not let us down in 2004. Still, with the media shrilly reporting the Left's talking points as facts, I worry...we must be vigilant, you and I, and continue our role as citizen-journalists!
