Lisa Jackson Too "Dirty Jersey"; Loses Job Running EPA...

And with good riddance.  She's a real-life moral pollutant

Lisa Jackson's forthcoming departure from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is a major victory for transparency and accountability in Washington.

After years of whispers that EPA officials frequently used private email addresses, fake names and coded messages to circumvent the Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA, Jackson admitted recently to using "Richard Windsor" as her chosen nom de plume on a government email account....

The EPA inspector general opened an investigation into the matter because it is against federal law to use nonofficial or secret email addresses to conduct official business.

...The use of private or secret emails enables high government muckety-mucks like Jackson to hide things about which they don't want the rest of us to know...

Lisa has been a filthy cheat and a political stooge from her days crawling up the rungs of power in Dirty Jersey, as any long-time reader of this blog knows. A little bit of history on our little EnvironmentalSult:

As head of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, she was notorious for ignoring the facts and bending whichever way monied pressure groups and influential state pols asked her to.

Best example is the occasion she supported then-Governor Corzine's attempt to change the makeup of New Jersey's Fish & Game Council from six sportsmen and three farmers -- who represented various geographical regions of the state -- to seven political appointees recommended by the Governor. Corzine and Jackson failed at this little coup, but these two professional pols formed quite a bond with each other (more on that later).

And what happened when the Council sanctioned a bear hunt in New Jersey to quell their encroachment upon suburban neighborhoods? Governor Corzine vocally disapproved - bear's lives being more important than his constituents - and Lisa Jackson used her authority to cancel the hunt over widespread objection. When it comes down to a council of civilian experts, or one dumb politician, Lisa Jackson will side with a dummy who can help her every single time, and damn the consequences to the rest of us.

So Lisa and Dirty Jon Corzine got pretty tight, and in October of 2008, he named her to be his Chief of Staff, a nice political plum in a Soprano State dominated by payoffs, bribes, and extortion...

...experience which appealed to a newly-inaugurated Barack Hussein Obama, who then hired Lisa Jackson to head his Environmental Protection Agency. A bright flashing warning sign of what we should have seen coming from both the Obama Administration and the EPA, had anyone taken their heads out of their asses to notice.

How bad of a job did Jackson do in New Jersey?  In an akward political oddity, one of the very first actions the EPA took once she was seated was to...criticize the sh*t job done by the New Jersey DEP, under one...Lisa Jackson.

Really (same link as above):

Federal officials are criticizing how New Jersey's Department of Environmental Protection operates, a report in the Record said.

An Environmental Protection Agency audit found "significant shortcomings," especially in the DEP's division that handles contaminated site cleanups. The EPA said the site remediation program lacks oversight, and the DEP takes contractors hired by polluters at their word without checking.

The report also found the agency has failed to take corrective action to fix problems uncovered in a 2005 audit.

....Bill Wolfe, a former DEP analyst who now is director of the New Jersey chapter of Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, says This audit is an indictment of DEP management for failing fundamental tests of competence.”

So when Barack Obama looked at her resume, what did he learn about Lisa's management style?
-no concern with oversight
-contracts handed out like political favors ( as the EPA report above seems to suggest)
-refusal to take corrective action
-willingness to overt established authority in order to fulfill political objectives

Just...plain...dirty

Alas, to our president, these are features, not bugs.   Need one more?

The DEP is a state agency that lets the big guys slide while picking on the little folks. It needs to be cleaned out.

Sheeet....when President Obama first met Lisa Jackson, his eyes must have lit up like an old lady's at a slot machine when the triple-7's roll in...

But Dirty Jersey poisons all it touches, and even the Divine Protection of The One was not enough to hide Lisa's filth from the public eye.  She's gone now, but like radioactive decay, her offensive policies and persona will continue to damage our government, our economy, and our society.  The half-life of liberal filth like Lisa Jackson - aided by a willfully blind media and a party that believes the ends always justify the means - is virtually eternal.

  1. Everyone in Jersey who is not a low-information voter knows what a disaster Lisa Jackson was as the head of the DEP. Ergo, a perfect choice for the Obama cast of reprobates.

Can Zulima Farber be far behind?
