Did NBC intentionally cause a race riot that may yet lead to the lynching of a presumed-to-be innocent Hispanic male? Sure looks that way:
In the NBC segment, Zimmerman says: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”
The full version, though, unfolds like this:
Zimmerman: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good, or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.”
911 operator: “Okay. And this guy, is he white, black or Hispanic?”
Zimmerman: “He looks black.”
Kind of changes the context just a bit, doesn't it? Goes from a man offering what appears to be a stereotypical racist statement to a man simply answering a question posed to him by a 911 dispatcher.
NBC claims they are investigating the editorial process, but does anyone really believe they'll do anything but whitewash their culpability? What else can they do, admit they doctored a tape to juice up a story (MSNBC has been running with Trayvon Martin virtually non-stop) and are coming clean now that the reaction and repercussions has gone far beyond what they had anticipated?
The final blow to NBC already-sullied reputation, not to mention the lawsuits that would follow, prohibit an honest response to the crime NBC has committed here.
Rex Murphy issues a warning, not only to NBC but to all media outlets, and to the Left as a whole:
People are not symbols. Facts are not plastic, to be heated and molded to produce a narrative. The news is not a parable. Martin Zimmerman is not “white America” any more than Trayvon Martin is “black America.”
Expect them not to listen. As the facts continue to bear out the failure of the liberal/media ideology, they are now on the official "enemy list", and so anything that is done to them is allowable under the "ends justifies the means" ethos of the American Left...
The reason they're not showing the second pic of a guy throwing up his middle fingers is because thats not a picture of him, its a picture on his Facebook page
ReplyDeleteI heard a version where he says "%&#@ing coon"? So that should make it a bit more clear for ya.
ReplyDeletelaura let me make it clear for you.Not a single paper will admit that this kid was a marijuana dealer…his friends on Facebook all say he had the “best plants”…not a single paper will show you any of his recent photos where he shows off a mouthful of gold teeth….all of his tattoos…not a single paper will tell the news like it really is….and NOT how they want you to think it is…
ReplyDeletePresident King Obama…looked at the FIVE year old photo the media chose to show the Nation…and said…”If I had a son…he would look like Trayvon” So from that comment…should I assume you did not bother to look for the facts in this shooting..or should I assume you want a son who is a 17 year old drug dealing, gold teethed thug whose name on one of his Facebook profiles was “wild nigga”…who ‘finds” jewelry and burglary tools on the way to school ?

ReplyDeleteFing "COLD" So that should make it a bit more clear for ya
who cares this kid is dead that's all that really matters, no one cares of the stupid decisions he made in life everyone has made them no one is perfect, none of you are perfect neither is George Zimmerman maybe Trayvon felt that he had to kill him before he killed him it goes both ways. I feel bad for both families and it's not up to any of us we can give our opinion but at the end of it all it's up to the jury to say he's guilty or not guilty and even if they say he's innocent it's not like he's going to get away with people will riot and he will be a target.
ReplyDeleteThey're not showing that photo because it is a different Trayvon Martin. You can check any of the hoax sites for verification, although just your own two eyes should be all you need...but then i suppose all blacks look alike to some people. Not that it matters, as a person's appearance does not make his life worth less or justify someone killing him. But the photo in the red tshirt is not 5-7 years old, it was taken 7 months before Trayvon was killed.
ReplyDeleteThat's not even his fucking picture what the hell. The black kid in the bottom doesn't even look like Trayvon. and just because the kid was throwing a middle finger up in a picture doesn't mean he could get murdered. he did nothing wrong.
ReplyDeleteHe "didn't do anything wrong" ?!?
ReplyDeleteIf only we could have seen what would have happened had the kid not been stopped. He probably would have broken into a house and robbed a family blind. He didn't "not do anything wrong". He was high - attempted to be covered up as to hide his identity - and acted in a way that set off innocent neighbors.
