Democrats, Liberals Lash Out At Their Fellow Americans...

Last month it was terrorist, last week it was dominionist, and this week it’s apparently barbarian, or, if you prefer, barbarian “sons of bitches."

However, the old insults have lost their power. Epithets like “racist,” “bigot,” or “homophobe” are dated and overused. So it’s apparently time to focus group the new slurs.

“Terrorist” failed for lack of terrorism. “Dominionist” can’t work because even the alleged dominionists haven’t heard of the term. “Barbarian?” I don’t see it having legs. After all, who’s cooler than Conan? (Original version, of course). So what’s next? Troglodyte? Neanderthal?


The problem, of course, is that polls show that pretty much 60% of all Americans are opposed to the Obama-Socialist Democrat - Liberal agenda. If the Left thinks they are going to marginalize their opposition by calling them mean names, well...the only thing they'll be marginalizing is their support, into the 30% range.

 One wonders if the Left, in its impotent rage over their impending complete rejection by the American people, will attempt to bring down the nation with them, a final act of spite, a kind of Moby Dick-ish "to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee." kind of thing. Maybe nuke Tel Aviv, or loot the gold in Fort Knox? Print a few trillion dollars, then declare martial law? Who can say, when Jimmy Hoffa, Joe Biden, and Barack Hussein Obama are running the show?

But back to the long-lost insult that will finally turn folks away from conservatism. Perhaps the Left can avail themselves of the Shakespearean Insult Generator? Every click brings a new slur, and they will sound so much smarter than Rick Perry when they are delivering these beauties:

~Thou villainous full-gorged fustilarian!
~ [Thou] leathern-jerkin, crystal-button, knot-pated, agatering, puke-stocking, caddis-garter, smooth-tongue, Spanish pouch!
~[Thou] blunt monster with uncounted heads!
~Thou ruttish shard-borne lout!
~Thou art a very ragged Wart...

And so on...sigh...
