Chaos at the Capitol

On the outside, anti-reform demonstrators get pumped when Congressional Republicans fly their colors:

Apparently, the Gadsden Flag was unfurled by Reps. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who is the Chief Deputy Whip, Mary Fallin (R-OK), Bill Posey (R-FL) and Geoff Davis (R-KY),who unfurled their own yellow "Don't Tread on Me" banner from a side balcony of the Capitol, adjacent to the Speaker's Lobby.

And on the inside?

Cong. Barney Frank came out to give reporters a rundown of what happened in the chamber. A man stood up and started shouting "kill the bill." According to Frank, the man was encouraged to continue by several Republican members.

The man was escorted out. Another man started in and he was escorted out as well.

Arrests:

Re: Protesters in house gallery

One of the men arrested was Bill Gunn of Wareham, MA. He was wearing an Uncle Sam t-shirt that read "foot the bill."

Wow. Fiscal responsibility. Sounds like treason to me.

See what hope and change has wrought? Loathing, anger, tyranny, and anarchy. But keep your chin up! Only three years to go...
