That would be today...
Via Perfuction:
In case you were in a haze back in the winter of '07, "escalation" meant "The Surge." Per Obama, it was a predetermined failure before it was even fully launched.
More on Obama's strategy of surrender:
Obama released a statement saying...no amount of American soldiers can solve the political differences at the heart of somebody else's civil war,"..... "That's why I have introduced a plan to not only stop the escalation of this war, but begin a phased redeployment that can pressure the Iraqis to finally reach a political settlement and reduce the violence."
Can you imagine what a horrific place the world would be, as of today, had we taken Obama's path and bugged out of Iraq? If The Surge had become The Surrender?
One can be assured that Moqtada al-Sadr never would have "ordered his fighters off Iraq's streets", that's for sure. More likely he would be running the joint, in cahoots with his Iranian chums. All from the "pressure" of no American troops....
But being a Democrat means never being able to say, "I was wrong", even when the facts scream otherwise.
How far off base is this guy? Listen as this wanna-be Commander-in-Chief proudly brags about how he would dissemble America's military might:
Don't say we didn't warn you....
al-Qaeda's dream candidate? You betcha...note his fan base includes the notoriously peaceful Hamas...
Ah, it doesn't matter - this clueless waif is DOA in the general come November. Can you imagine Hillary's grin of self-satisfaction as McCain takes New Jersey?
Bring 'em on, let's get it started...
Typical White Flag Person.
ReplyDeleteIf I were the Republicans, I would go so viral with that Youtube video - it shows exactly how far to the left he is. Obama would disarm us in the face of our enemies, and count on their good will to spare our necks.
ReplyDeleteUnlikely. And we would pay the price for his folly, as the whole world may well have if the aforementioned bill had passed.
